These Cajun-spiced tofu nuggets are a flavourful and protein-rich alternative to traditional chicken nuggets. They make a great meal or afternoon snack on the go, especially at picnics.
What you'll need:
(Makes enough for around 10 medium sized nuggets)
- 1/2 pack of firm tofu
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 1 tsp cajun spice mix
- a little oil
What you need to do:
- Use kitchen towel to press any extra moisture out of the tofu.
- Then slice the tofu into 2cm chunks.
- Toss the tofu chunks in the cornflour and spice mix so they are even coated.
- Drizzle or spray with a little oil, and air fry at 180 degrees for around 10minutes.
- You can also make them in the oven for around 15 minutes, until nice and golden.
- Serve with potatoes and ketchup.
