This nutritious blend combines tender, protein-rich chicken with a gentle touch of Cajun seasoning, introducing your baby to a world of exciting tastes and textures.
Packed with essential nutrients, this dish is designed to support their growing needs while encouraging a love for diverse flavours. It's perfect for big kids too. Swap bland and unhealth frozen chicken nuggets for these scrummy Cajun chicken bites.
For 9mths+ Dice 1 chicken thigh into small bite size chunks. Mix a dollop of Greek yogurt with 1/2 tsp of Cajun spice mix. For older babies and kids (12mths+) you can leave out the yogurt if you prefer (though it does make it tender). Marinade the chicken chunks for a few minutes (longer if you have time).
Cook the chicken thigh chunks on a medium heat for around 5 minutes until chicken is thoroughly cooked and not pink inside. Leave it to cool slightly before serving.
Cut the sweet potato into finger chip sized wedges. Drizzle with a little olive oil and a pinch of magic herb dust (if you have it). Cook in an air fryer at 170 degrees for 15 mins, or in the oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
Serve the Cajun chicken with the sweet potato wedges and any other veggies you prefer.
