Ginger, Carrot and Orange smoothie

This refreshing and nutritious smoothie is a perfect afternoon pick me up for your kiddies (better than squash or juice out of the carton, right?). Our Ginger Carrot Orange Smoothie is the perfect blend of vibrant flavours and essential vitamins to keep your little one happy and healthy.

Packed with the natural sweetness of oranges, the earthy goodness of carrots, and a hint of zing from fresh ginger, this smoothie is not only delicious but also a powerhouse of nutrients. It's a delightful way to introduce a variety of flavours (especially the nutritious ginger spice) and boost their immune system. 

Green smoothie, made from carrot, oranges, ginger and spinach

Here's what you need:

  • One carrot (I don't peel it, just wash it thoroughly and chop the ends of)
  • Two peeled little oranges/satsumas/clementines
  • 1 cm chunk of ginger
  • Handful of spinach
  • Plenty of ice cubes
  • 1 cup of water

Here's what to do:

  • Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend for 30seconds until perfectly smooth. 
  • Serve immediately to your kiddies, in their favourite cup.
  • This recipe makes around 3 child-sized portions, so I'd give Deeya around 1/3 of the smoothie mixture.
