Bursting with vibrant colours and a harmonious blend of flavours, these bite-sized salmon pieces are not only delicious but also packed with essential nutrients.
Here's what you'll need:
- One Salmon Fillet
- ½ teaspoon Indian Spice mix
- 1 dollop Greek yogurt (optional)
- 20 grams Butternut Squash
- 20 grams Swede
- Little milk and butter for mash (magic herb dust optional)
Here's what to do:
- For 9mths+ dice 1/3 Salmon fillet into small bite size chunks. Mix a dollop of Greek yogurt with 1/2 tsp of Indian spice mix. For older babies (12mths+) you can leave out the yogurt if you prefer (makes for a stronger taste).
- Marinade the salmon for a few minutes (longer if you have time).
- Cook the salmon on a medium heat for around 5 minutes until salmon is cooked through. Leave it to cool slightly before serving.
- Cut the butternut squash and swede into small chunks (swede slightly bigger than sweet potato) and boil or steam in hot water until completely cooked through and soft.
- Drain, and mash with a fork. Add a little butter and splash of milk to make it creamy. If you have the magic herb dust, sprinkle in a bit of herbs to the mash.
- Serve the Indian salmon with the mash and any other veggies you prefer.
